Henry Collins - Early 40s, uncle to the Collins’ boys, Christian had him moved from Connecticut to New York about 2 years ago, he’s completely blind and was born that way for reasons relatively unknown. He lives on his own, seeing as he’s pretty capable, and has been for his entire life, able to care for himself. Henry was married once, though his wife died shortly after their son was born… Jasper is actually his son, not just some random kid the Collins family adopted, who was raised by his brother, Arnold and wife Maggie (Margaret) because of Henry’s blindness and I believe his wife had a severe mental disorder, the fact she lived as long as she did and managed to have even the one child. Jasper wound up in child services first of all before his uncle stepped up and took over his care, it just took them the 14 years before they got to him. Jasper has some of his mother’s mental health issues, the suicidal tendencies, the depression all that comes from his biological mother, I think her name was Alice. Jasper doesn’t know that Henry is his father, though he’s known the man for most of his young life, Henry can’t really find it in his heart to tell him. Henry is a quiet man, keeps himself to himself in most cases, though he’s not a shut-in, actually relatively active for everything he is. Usually found sitting in Central Park playing chess on Saturday and Wednesday afternoons, on Wednesdays his usual player is Issac Parker, who meets him for a game or two before he heads home after his class at the Black Dragon Dojo.
